Drivers in South Cumbria will have four National Highways roadworks to watch out for this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, is:
• A590, from 7.30am November 4 to 6.30pm December 2, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): A590 northbound and southbound, Lightburn Road, Swarthmoor, traffic signals and lane closure for gas mains replacement.
• A590, from 7pm November 19 to 5am November 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Haverthwaite, traffic Lights for Fibrus works.
• A590, from 7am November 20 to 7pm November 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound, just prior to Newby Bridge Roundabout, Lane closure for BT works.
• M6, from 7am November 28 to 7pm November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound, Burton Services to junction 36, Lane one closure for communications works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
