A number of towns across Furness are next on the list to benefit from new hyperfast broadband.
Project Gigabit is a UK-wide, Government-led initiative worth £5billion that will give hard to reach communities greater access to full fibre broadband.
Under a £108million broadband improvement contract for Cumbria, Hyperfast GB will bring 'lightning-fast' gigabit-capable broadband services to almost 60,000 homes and businesses.

Next to be focused on are Ulverston, Dalton, Kirkby, Penny Bridge, Gleaston, Baycliff, Bardsea, Satterthwaite, and Foxfield.
Places such as Broughton have already seen the improvements made earlier this year.
Giving residents the chance to learn more about the work being carried out, an information evening will be held on Tuesday, November 19 from 7pm at the Ulverston Auction Mart Cafe on North Lonsdale Terrace.
