The St John Ambulance service has announced plans to expand its presence in Barrow.
The Cumbria and Lancashire branch of the national organisation shared this week that it is looking for a new home close to the town centre.
This comes as a result of 'exciting' new plans to grow its crop of volunteers in Barrow.
A spokesperson said: "We have outgrown our current building and need somewhere new to meet.
"We are looking for a nice big church hall, community centre, meeting room or similar, must have a kitchen and preferably storage space with power - but this is optional.
"Our aim is to teach first aid and CPR, to support our local community at events and in times of need."
The group meets in the evenings on Wednesdays between 5pm and 9.30pm with occasional weekends.
