A group in Grange-over-Sands are using south Cumbrian landmarks to help their efforts to stop violence against women.
Grange Soroptimists, part of an international collection of organisations, launched the fundraiser towards the end of last month.
This will see them light up Barrow Town Hall and the Hoad Monument in Ulverston as part of the 'Orange the World' campaign 2024.

A spokesperson from Grange Soroptimists explained: "Buildings and organisations all over the world take part every year, by lighting up orange in an act of solidarity for the campaign and as a public call to action
"We also plan to tie lots of orange ribbons on the gates of Cartmel Priory from November 25 until December 10 and, if you would like us to tie a ribbon on for you, please donate and tell us.
"It is an opportunity to raise awareness at a local, national and international level about violence against women and girls."
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is marked every year around the world on November 25, and is followed by 16 days of activism.
It is led by the United Nations and culminates on Human Rights Day in December.
Grange Soroptimists work to improve the lives of women and girls worldwide, not just in the local area, and are part of Soroptimist International, a global women’s service with a network of around 72,000 club members in 121 different countries.

"We're a thriving club of just under 40 members - many have been members for a long time, showing their commitment to and support for Soroptimism.
"The club has seen an exciting influx of new members recently - this is possibly because of the interesting and varied activities and projects that the club is involved in.
"A £10 donation could connect a Women’s Aid support worker to a survivor via their live chat service - help us to keep their vital services running by donating today."
The group members will be outside Cartmel Priory on November 25 from 11am, campaigning and fundraising.
