The Hoad Monument in Ulverston will be lighting up later this month to support families who have lost young loved ones.
The regional landmark will be getting involved in CRY (Cardiac Risk in Young) Awareness Week, which runs from November 23 until December 1.
The monument will be lit up red at the start of the week, coinciding with various fundraising activities across the country.

This includes people taking on challenges, such as walking, running or swimming 12 miles over the week, to honour the 12 young adults who die every week.
People in south Cumbria, including Lesley Mease and Steve and Donna Parker - who lost their children to CRY and SADs (Sudden Adult Death syndrome) - have been looking to educate people on the conditions.
A weekend's worth of screening normally costs £13,500, with one in every 300 people screened discovered to need help.
