A popular Christmas Tree Festival in Dalton will kick off the festive season in the town later this month.
Hosted by St Mary's Church on Church Street, the festival will feature 50 trees that have been decorated by members of the local community.
The festival will run three days a week, opening for the first on Friday, November 29 from 2pm until 5pm.
This will coincide with town's Christmas lights switch-on event which will be taking place on Sunday, December 1.
Running between Friday and Saturday every week in the build-up to the big day, the church will also open its doors on Thursday, December 26.
It will then draw to a close on Friday, December 27 at 4pm, drawing an end to another year of community celebration.
