Volunteers are encouraged to join the 'large-scale' conservation day at Coniston.
The event, organised by Friends of the Lake District, will take place on November 22.
Participants can expect to contribute to various practical conservation tasks around Coniston valley, with a cake reward for their efforts.
Kay Andrews, landscape engagement officer, said: "Coniston is a beautiful and much-loved Lake District valley.
"We’re inviting people of all ages and abilities to come and spend a day helping us to look after it, doing something really worthwhile for the Cumbrian landscape.
"We can’t guarantee the weather but we promise fresh air, fun, friends, feel-good factor and cake."
Activities will include dry stone walling, footpath maintenance, scrub clearance, and rhododendron clearing.
Booking is essential on a first-come, first-served basis, with activities running between 9.30am and 3pm.
