The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra are set to perform in Cumbria later this month.
Karel Deseure conducts Ravel’s dreamy Spanish fantasy, Poulenc’s witty Sinfonietta, and Mozart’s ebullient Oboe Concerto – with the Orchestra’s very own Helena Mackie in the spotlight.
The orchestra will also perform Mendelssohn Symphony No.4, ‘Italian’ at The Coro in Ulverston later this month, after the event was moved from the original venue of The Forum.
The Coro said: "November’s drawing in but here at The Coro it’s summer all over again! It’s music that practically dances for joy."
Tickets for the event on Friday November 29 at 7pm are available to buy online now, costing £25 for adults, £25 for concessions and £9 for under 25s.
