A MAN has been sentenced for assaulting another male in Barrow.
Christian Chelton, of Napier Street, Barrow, pleaded guilty to a single charge of assault by beating at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on November 7.
Court records show the 34-year-old committed the offence in Barrow on July 23 this year.
Magistrates sentenced Chelton to a 12-month community order with one requirement of completing 60 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
