A DRUG dealer who admitted to supplying a Class B drug in Barrow has been ordered to complete the maximum number of unpaid work hours a court can impose.
Aidan Murdoch, of How Street, previously admitted counts of being concerned in the making of an offer to supply another a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis and possession with intent to supply cannabis at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on October 5.

With his guilty plea at the first opportunity, the 29-year-old conceded he had committed the offence between August 21, 2020, and October 8, 2021.
Murdoch was sentenced in court on November 4 after magistrates adjourned for an all-options pre-sentence report on the last occasion.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with requirements to complete 10 RAR days and 300 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
According to the Criminal Justice Act 2003, a defendant cannot be required to complete more than 300 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £114 surcharge.
