A new cafe in Millom has taken a big step closer to becoming reality after its premises were revealed this week.
Simon Donnelly is looking to create a cafe to offer people with disabilities a place to learn and work, inspired by his daughter Willow, who has Down Syndrome.
He shared on Thursday, November 7 that the Community Interest Company (CIC) would be moving into 51 Wellington Street, though this is just the beginning of the hard work.

Simon added: "There's a lot of work to be done to turn this lovely building in to a fully functional coffee shop.
"How long it will take, I am unsure - the success of the project will come down to the support of the community so the more people we can connect with the easier it will be."
The business will help people gain a selection of professional certificates and teach them a range of skills, including how to wait tables, how to operate different payment systems, and the importance of timekeeping.
