Flookburgh woman in her sixties caught drink driving in Allithwaite

A 65-year-old woman has lost her licence after she was caught drink driving whilst nearly twice over the legal limit.

Julie Ann Gulley, of Market Street, Flookburgh, was driving her Hyundai Bayon Premium vehicle along Holme Lane in Allithwaite when she was stopped by road traffic officers.

Barrow man caught twice over legal alcohol limit whilst driving BMW

BARROW man was ordered to pay over £1,200 to a court after he was caught driving while over twice the legal alcohol limit.

Craig Mcilvogue, of Moor Tarn Lane on Walney, pleaded guilty at the first opportunity to drink driving when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on October 14.

Ulverston driver in his sixties caught nearly 3x over drinking limit

A MAN was sentenced in court after he was caught nearly three times over the legal drink driving limit.

Graham Wilding, of Devonshire Road, Ulverston, was driving his Vauxhall Astra Club on Lightburn Road when he was stopped by road traffic officers on August 10 this year.

Barrow drink driver crashed BMW into garden of two houses

AN UNEMPLOYED man crashed his car into the front garden of two properties while over twice the legal alcohol limit, a court heard.

Jamie White was driving his BMW 330d car on Red Oak Avenue in Barrow just after midnight on September 8 this year when he caused the collision, prosecutor Lee Dacre said.

Chef caught drug driving twice in Ulverston within days of one another

A CHEF was caught drug driving twice within days of one another, a court heard.

James Feldman was first stopped by road traffic officers while driving his Mini One on Lund Road in Ulverston on March 11, South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court heard.

Walney BMW owner caught over twice legal drug driving limit – banned

A BMW driver was ordered to pay over £1,000 to a court after he was caught drug driving in Barrow.

Mark Singleton, of Mill Bank on Walney, was stopped by road traffic officers on December 19 last year while driving his BMW 3-series on Park Road in Barrow.

Barrow moped driver stopped while under influence of diazepam

BARROW scooter driver has lost his licence after he was caught behind the wheel of his moped whilst under the influence of anxiolytic drug.

Timothy Leary, of Low White Close, Barrow, was stopped by road traffic officers whilst driving his SYM Joymax moped on Crellin Street on May 1 this year.
