Vue Barrow is set to celebrate the release of the film adaptation of the musical, Wicked.
The cinema has announced a range of treats for fans of the show, including a special screening, a keepsake, and 'the return of a classic.'
Based on Stephen Schwartz's award-winning musical, Wicked tells the untold story of the land of Oz, focusing on the friendship between Elphaba, the green witch, and Glinda.
The film stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
Vue Barrow will host a special screening of Wicked on Saturday, November 23, where fans are encouraged to wear outfits or accessories in the stage show's colours, pink and green.
Attendees of this screening will receive a limited edition LEGO piece featuring a green potion bottle and pink rose, representing Elphaba and Glinda.
Vue will also offer Wicked-themed merchandise and two exclusive Tango Ice Blasts, 'Defying Raspberry and Cherry Goodness.'
In anticipation of Wicked's release, Vue will screen the 1939 edition, The Wizard of Oz, from November 15.
Michael Hitchen, general manager at Vue in Barrow, said: "Wicked was an absolute sensation when it launched on the stage and we’re confident that the magic will translate onto the big screen.
