BARROW Town Council have said they would be ‘honoured’ if clubs, organisations and societies in the town gathered together this weekend for Remembrance Sunday.
Members of the public are asked to gather no later than 10:20am at Barrow’s Town Hall.
The procession will leave at 10:35 pm, arriving at the Cenotaph in time for the service to begin at 11am.
The ‘Service of Remembrance’ to remember the men and women who served in the armed forces will last for 30 minutes.
Following the service, the procession will terminate at the Royal British Legion Club on Holker Street.
