The original Christmas story is based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King written by E.T.A. Hoffmann and tells the story of Marie, whose godfather, Drosselmeier, gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve.
In her lively imagination it turns into a prince and the magic starts, with the ballet proving to be the 'ultimate fairy-tale' where goodness and beauty triumph.
Having wowed UK audiences in 2023, Crown Ballet are looking to provide an 'unforgettable journey' once again.
If you would like to get your tickets - priced at £25 except for concessions - then you can visit The Coro's website here.
