A musician from America is set to bring his ‘powerful’ live performance to the Coronation Hall in Ulverston.
Live music fans can enjoy a night of soulful blues rock, brought over the water directly from Texas, this week.
Hamilton Loomis has built a reputation as one of the genre’s brightest stars and will be heading to the venue with his band on Friday November 8.
Early in his career Loomis was mentored by blues rock legend Bo Diddley who he met at the iconic Houston venue Rockefeller’s when he was aged just 16.
After an impromptu performance together, the pair became friends and Diddley became his mentor and collaborator, appearing on two of Loomis’s future albums and presenting him with the cherished red guitar that he still plays.
Loomis’s powerful live performances have earned him an army of fans in the States and his appearance in Cumbria forms part of a major UK tour.
Hamilton Loomis will be appearing live at The Coro on Friday at 8pm. Tickets can be bought online or by calling the box office on 01229 820000.
