A PERFORMANCE from the BBC's acclaimed Philharmonic Orchestra in Ambleside will be broadcast on Radio 3. 

The event, on Saturday November 9 at St Mary's Parish Church, is called 'Aerial Presents Erland Cooper.' It will be an orchestral reimagining of his latest work 'Carve the Runes Then Be Content With Silence' for solo violin and orchestra, featuring violinist Freya Goldmark. 

The concert will be presented by BBC Radio 3’s Elizabeth Alker and recorded for broadcast on her show ‘Unclassified.' 

It will be on from 7.30pm to 10pm as part of the Aerial Festival, which is in Ambleside from November 8-10.
