A house in Dalton-in-Furness has gone above and beyond with its Halloween display in order to raise some money for a local school.
Keely Morgan has spent three weeks putting up a host of decorations, both inside and outside her home.
Although she has dressed up her house in spooky attire every Halloween for 26 years, this is the first time Keely has put out a collection bucket.
Keely has been a member of staff at Sandside Lodge School in Ulverston for over ten years, and is asking for donations towards providing a new space for the pupils.
“I've worked at Sandside School since 2012,” Keely said, “We now have a purposely built school that has doubled in size, with lots more pupils and staff.
“The school is trying to raise money to adapt the school lodge into a working cafe that the pupils can work in. A lot of money is needed, so any help makes a difference.
“I love my job, the staff and the pupils I work with. We are all part of a great team and family.”
As well as twinkling lights, scary skeletons and a giant spider’s web, Keely has pumpkins and graves as well as a Halloween tree.
For the full effect, Keely will turn the lights on at her home on Ruskin Avenue at 5pm tonight and after the success of last night, Halloween is expected to be even busier.
Keely’s colleagues and friends have all donated sweets for her to hand out to trick or treaters.
“I love it,” Keely said, “I go to this effort every year because I know how much the kids and adults love it and being able to raise money has made it even more special.”
