A church in Ulverston is planning to provide the community with free Christmas meals to help locals celebrate.
The Emmanuel Christian Centre, found on Mill Street, is inviting people to join its team on Christmas Day for 'festive food and fun' from 12.30pm.
However, residents also have the option to have the food delivered straight to their door which will come between noon and 1.30pm.

A spokesperson from the centre commented: "On a day that means so much to Lynne [Matthews] and the team, they want everyone to be able to celebrate Christmas, either in person or delivered."
Lynne helps run Carelink, a community service based at the centre which aims to 'demonstrate love through practical means', which mainly comes in the form of the provision of meals and practical help in the running of a home.
