A care home in Cumbria celebrated the spooky season in style and hosted a Halloween trail that brought together both residents and the local community.

St George’s Care Home in Millom has been transformed as staff members worked hard to transform the grounds and dress up in creative costumes to enhance the eerie atmosphere.

The residents ‘love’ having people visit and this event was the perfect way to celebrate Halloween.

Children ticked off the items on their lists as they discovered each frightful find, earning prizes that added to the excitement.

“The goal this year was to do something different,” said Gemma Fretter, manager of St George’s Care Home.

I am so incredibly proud of our team and the effort every member of staff put in to make this event happen, giving up their time and dressing up to really get into the spirit.”

The event showcased the creativity and dedication of the staff and raised a valuable amount for St George’s activity fund.
