A Barrow restaurant built around one family's legacy is up for a new award.
The Mail began its search for the best curry house of 2024 last month - building on the success of other recent award campaigns.
This saw readers nominate their favourite places when it comes to a bit of spice - with 10 finalists named from those results.
The finalists have been vying for votes for the public which you can submit by picking up a copy of The Mail before Saturday, November 9.
Running alongside the contest will be a series of special features about each of the nominated businesses celebrating the people who are putting the local area on the food map.

In Barrow, the Taj Mahal Restaurant first opened its doors in 2022 with owners Fahsin Ahmed and Fahmida Shamim looking to honour their mum's memory after her death two years previous.
Fashin said: "We're very honoured [with the award nomination] - it's really nice to know that the public are supportive of us so we're feeling very grateful.
"We hand-built Taj ourselves and ended up choosing the name as recognition for the work our parents put in."
The siblings also run Mithali, a takeaway that is can be found in Barrow and is up for 'The Best Curry House 2024' award as well.
This was previously managed as a restaurant by their parents Abida Bahar and Masud Ahmed for 25 years with both Fahsin and Fahmida looking to build upon the success they built in the community.
Fahmida added: "I had a lot of fun putting it together - we know Barrow people love their Indian food.
"With it being a tribute to our mother, it really adds a more sentimental value to the place."
“I saw how much my mum loved running a restaurant and got to the time in my life where I wanted to do something for myself and thought why can’t I do it?"
If you reckon the Taj Mahal is the best curry house around then make sure you get your copy of The Mail before November 9.
