A new tap room is coming to the heart of the Lake District next year to build upon a company's growing reputation.
Created by the Lakes Brew Company, the new site will be found in Ambleside with the team hoping to create a 'vibrant, inclusive, family friendly' social space for locals and visitors.
The tap room will blend the 'modern and traditional' parts of the area to create the perfect recipe for success.
Michelle Gay, co-founder of Lakes Brew Co, said: "We are constantly being asked when are you going to open a permanent tap room, and that time is now.
"A flagship venue, in the heart of the Lakes."
Lakes Brew Co was originally set up in 2021 by four friends with a shared passion for craft beer - Michelle, Matt Clarke, Steve Ricketts and Paul Sheldon.
For the last two years, they have successfully run a pop-up tap space once a month in their brewery on the Mintsfeet industrial estate in Kendal.
Despite the new development, the team has promised that these will still go ahead.
"The pop-up weekends have engaged locally, and have grown with every passing month," Michelle added.
"The team don’t want to give up the personal interaction with the loyal following who have supported them from the very beginning."

The new tap room will offer and showcase a wide range of the company's own award-winning craft beers, all brewed and packaged at the brewery within 14 miles of the Ambleside premise.
These will be sold alongside other new and exciting drinks, creating a 'comprehensive offer' to suit all tastes.
The Lakes Brew team has invited Toast of Windermere to join them as their onsite food vendor as part of the new venture.
Toast looks to expand on its current site in the Lake District and take its 'street toast' to the next level, using locally sourced produce to create new food offerings not currently readily available in the region.
"The hope is to create a space where everyone can go, feel relaxed, drink some great beer and eat some amazing food, by two modern, local independent businesses," added Michelle.
"The space and offer will be something completely different to what you can currently get in Ambleside at the moment.”
