A hotel has made its latest donation to a local charity thanks to the power of coffee.
The Holiday Inn Express in Barrow has been running its Coffee Club initiative, where each drink sold sees 20p go to worthy causes, since 2021.

It was revealed this week that, over the past six months, the team's efforts have brought in £796.60 for St Mary's Hospice.
The Ulverston-based charity receives half of the total donations with the rest going to other local organisations and projects.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Coffee Club had raised over £3,500 for the hospice with this latest donation building upon previous success.
A spokesperson from St Mary's said: "This generosity truly reflects the power of our community coming together to support one another.
"To the team at Holiday Inn Express, and to every coffee club customer – thank you for making a difference with every sip."
