It’s almost Halloween, which means there are spooky celebrations happening all over the place.
We’ve rounded up a list of some of the parties and events happening in the Furness area this week…
Barrow Raiders are welcoming everyone to their family Halloween party and Tunnel of Terror on Thursday October 31.
Starting at 6pm, there will be free family party in the MKM marquee and the Tunnel of Terror by Laserlightsalive. You can book your tickets here.
The Ship Inn 1691 at Kirkby is hosting a ‘Fright Night’ on Saturday November 2.
Everyone is encouraged to wear fancy dress and there will be a DJ and karaoke to sing along to.
The pub is also welcoming the mobile catering business, Cloud Nine Kitchen, who will be doing tacos.
Round House Hub & Café in Barrow is throwing a children’s Halloween fancy dress disco party on Wednesday October 30 and Thursday October 31.
Starting at 1pm, there will be lots of ghoulish games, scary facepainting and a dark demon’s disco.

The Meeting Place in Barrow is celebrating with a Halloween Special on Saturday November 2.
There will be Slipknot and Lamb of God tribute from the Eleventh Hour.
The Bowler Bar at The Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston is having a spooky bingo night on Wednesday October 30.
The Roxy Collective Presents their first bingo night of the winter season with lots of prizes to be won.
This 18 years and over event is £7 on the door at 6.30pm.
The Farmer's Arms at Lowick Green is putting on Halloween fun all day Thursday October 31.
There will be children’s making workshops in the morning and woodfired pizzas in the evening.
The Knights in Barrow is throwing a House of Horror night on Saturday November 2.
The big event by Nest, an up-and-coming home of live events and dance music, will bring house, garage, and bass.
Starting at 9pm, there will be live performances from local DJs and a Halloween party.
Ignition Cocktail Bar in Ulverston is having a Halloween Vampire Party on Saturday November 2.
This over 18s fancy dress event will start at 10pm, with free entry.
