Dracula is coming to a Cumbrian castle this Halloween.
Peter Frost-Pennington, part of the family who have lived at Muncaster Castle for the past 800 years, will be playing Count Dracula in the castle's upcoming Halloween Family Festival.
He has dyed his hair, readied his fangs and shaved his beard to look the part.
Mr Frost-Pennington said: "I really like to sink my teeth into any role I play.
"I've shaved off the beard which I've had for many years and dyed my hair for the look associated with the Prince of Darkness.
"We've not had that much sun this year so I've got his pale face too."
The Dracula show is a family-friendly production which takes visitors on a tour through some of Muncaster's 'shadowy halls' and usually unseen areas.
The show is filled with stories, songs, dance and 'just the right amount of spooky fun.'
He will be joined by a cast of characters who will help visitors discover the 'chilling secrets of the infamous vampire.'
Mr Frost-Pennington said: "Living in a castle certainly makes for a varied life.
"I'm still not sure if you have to be eccentric to live in a castle or if living in a castle makes you eccentric."
The Halloween Family Festival, which is 'one of the most popular events of the year' at Muncaster Castle, will run from October 26 to November 3.
