The development dates back to July this year when the town council shared that a new quiet area would be built at the park.
A spokesperson commented: "It is going to be a lovely place to sit and reflect for those who don't wish to be in the hub of the play areas."
The old sensory area has been improved as part of the plans with that specific work starting at the beginning of August.
The council intends to make the space the perfect spot to 'watch the world go by', with the development designed to be accessible for all people.
