A restaurant in Ulverston is maintaining its high standards after being nominated for a new award.
Earlier this month, The Mail began its search for the best curry house of 2024, building on the success of other recent award campaigns.
This saw readers nominate their favourite places when it comes to a bit of spice with 10 finalists named from those results.
Over the next two weeks, those finalists will be vying for your vote, which you can submit by picking up a copy of The Mail before Saturday, November 9.
Running alongside the contest will be a series of special features about each of the nominated businesses, celebrating the people who are putting the local area on the food map.

We return to Ulverston this time around where the Bengal Rose on Fountain Street has been cooking up success.
Sanny Rahman, the manager of the restaurant, said: "We wanted to give incredible food, brilliant customer service and a memorable experience for all occasions.
"The reviews in person, Google, TripAdvisor [on which it holds the number one spot for restaurants in Ulverston] and Facebook have been five-star and resonate with our primary aims."
Bengal Rose arrived in April 2022 and has grown to be a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Even on its opening day two years ago, the team was left 'overwhelmed and thankful' for the support shown by the community.
It was for exactly that reason that Sanny originally made the choice to leave her hometown of Manchester for Ulverston, due to the 'good local trade and community spirit'.
"We are really proud of the standard we have set and kept to and will continue to do so," she added.
"We continuously donate to local charities and support local businesses in all ways possible."
If you think that Bengal Rose deserves to win the 'Best Curry House 2024' award, then make sure you get a copy of The Mail before November 9.
