FOUR flood warnings have been issued for parts of Ulverston.
Heavy rain overnight led to the Environment Agency issuing the warnings.
They are in place for:
Dragley and Lunds Becks at South Ulverston
Areas most at risk include low lying areas and property adjacent to Dragley and Lund Becks at South Ulverston, including Steel Street, North Lonsdale Road, Cross Lane and Kennedy Street areas.
Dragley Beck at Ulverston from Dragley Beck Bridge on Well Lane downstream to South Ulverston
Areas most at risk include low lying areas and property adjacent to Dragley and Lund Becks at Rydal Road, Watery Lane, Fitz Bridge, Morecambe Road, Rope Walk and parts of South Ulverston at Low Mill Bridge, South View Farm and Outcast.
Town Beck at Ulverston from The Ellers to Dragley Beck
Areas most at risk include the Allotment Gardens, Lund Terrace, Morecambe Road, North Lonsdale Terrace, Kingsway, Dale Street and William Street.
Town Beck at Ulverston from The Gill downstream to The Ellers area
Areas most at risk include low-lying areas and properties in the town adjacent to Town Beck. Areas likely to be affected are The Gill, parts of Upper Brook Street, Buxton Place, Union Street, The Ellers area and the Recycling Centre.
