Over the next two weeks, those finalists will be vying for your vote, which you can submit by picking up a copy of The Mail before Saturday, November 9.
Running alongside the contest will be a series of special features about each of the nomination businesses, with the first one bringing us to Ulverston.
At King Street, Aroma Indian Dining has been serving customers since 2019, having expanded on the legacy of a popular restaurant in the community.
The owners said: "It’s an honour to be recognised, especially considering how much we’ve invested in making Aroma a standout dining experience.
"We took over the restaurant when it was known as British Raj Indian Cuisine, a well-loved 100 seater establishment that had been thriving for over 15 years.
"From day one, our vision was to take that strong foundation and elevate it even further."
The team have won local applause for their 'bold and authentic' flavours, including a four-course Happy Hour meal that gives people the 'perfect' opportunity to try more dishes.
"On busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant is buzzing with energy, both floors usually fully occupied as diners come to enjoy the food and service that we take so much pride in.
"Being nominated for this award is a fantastic recognition of all the hard work and love we pour into Aroma every day - it truly shows how much the community appreciates what we’ve created.
"It’s a celebration of the journey we’ve been on since 2019, and we’re excited to keep pushing boundaries and delivering a dining experience that stands out from the rest."
If you believe that Aroma Indian Dining deserves to take home the title, then make sure to get your copy of The Mail before November 9.
