A MAN has been ordered to pay over £1,000 to a court for racially aggravated harassment.
Karl Jackson, of New Market Street, Ulverston, pleaded guilty on the day of his trial to using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour to a person who was likely to be caused harassment, alarm, or distress.
The 36-year-old committed the offence on March 19 this year in Ulverston, court records show.
Magistrates fined Jackson £500 for the offence and ordered that he pat £400 in court costs, as well as a £200 surcharge.
