Handkerchiefs worn by Dave Myers are being transformed into remembrance poppies to raise money for charity.
Lili, Dave's wife, shared on Thursday, October 24 that she would be making the special creations herself, building upon last year's success that saw her raise £275.
However, this year, she is bringing the poppies to life with a 'little added bonus' that will also pay tribute to Dave.
She said: "I’m going to use Dave’s favourite handkerchief to make the leaves for the poppies.
"He was notorious for loving his coloured and nicely pressed handkerchiefs, and there will be a little sign that this belonged to Dave."
People who get their hands on the exclusive creations can either donate to Childline, Lili's chosen charity, or an organisation of their choosing.
At the time of writing, there were still a very small number of poppies to be bought, with the expectation that they will be highly sought after.
But you can still make a contribution to Lili's JustGiving page, which has recently tipped past the £1000 mark.
