Beatrix Potter's home in the Lake District has recently been getting an 'important' upgrade to preserve it for future fans.
Since last week, the property in Near Sawrey was treated to a 'little TLC' to keep it in 'great shape for generations to come'.
The large sash windows have been given a fresh lick of paint before wintertime arrives, with scaffolding installed and wisteria vines 'gently' trimmed and moved.

A spokesperson from the Beatrix Potter Society said: "The work is being done one room at a time in order to minimise disruption, and to ensure that visitors can still see as much as possible.
"The guest bedroom was the first space to be tackled - staff moved and covered Beatrix’s furnishings, and painters erected a plastic ‘tent’ in front of the window to further protect the room from any possible damage.
"By the end of day one, the white muntins and green trim in the guest bedroom were already much improved, and much of the flaking paint had been scraped from the downstairs windows in order to prepare them to be painted."
