A company in Cumbria is eyeing up 'new opportunities' for growth after boasting a 'major achievement'.
The Barrow Fabrication Team of Forth Engineering LTD has passed its EN1090 welding tests.
This will mean that the scope of work that the Fabrication Team can do has now expanded.
A spokesperson from Forth Engineering explained: "These certifications are a major achievement and a key step in ensuring that our steel fabrication work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
"With this qualification, we can now expand our capabilities, delivering fully certified structural steel components for a range of industries.
"It opens up new opportunities for growth, allowing us to take on larger and more complex projects while maintaining compliance with EU regulations."
