A MOTORBIKE rider was taken to hospital after a collision with a car.
Cumbria Police said a blue Ford Fiesta and a red Honda motorbike were involved in a collision in Barrow on Tuesday evening.
Officers are appealing for information on the incident, which happened around 6.45pm on Thwaite Flat Road.
A police spokesman said: "The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, was seriously injured and taken to Furness General Hospital to have those injuries assessed.
