A new shop is bringing 'Willy Wonka vibes' to Cumbria - along with a record-breaking biscuit.
Cheryl Hamilton, born and raised in South Africa before moving to the county, is the mind behind 'Fudge My Life', a business that has been providing locals with homemade fudge since 2021.

Now, Cheryl is taking things to the next level, with her new shop hoping to open its doors in Grange on Friday, November 1.
She said: "We have a very Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland theme going on!
"I have made every single bit of decoration by myself and relied heavily on my creativity and resourcefulness."
Cheryl, a mum of three, said her 'dream' of creating and running her own shop was coming true at the start of October - and is now just over a week away from it becoming a reality.
"This has been a dream come true for me, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible support from all of my followers, customers, and community," she said.
"If my passion was measured by the amount of support I’ve received then my passion would be crystal clear to everyone."
The shop will offer all the fudge flavours that Cheryl has become known for, along with a wide range of potential new favourites.
It also pays tribute to the previous business found at 10a Lowther Gardens, with a dog from Mac's Pals making up part of the decorations.
And the centre piece of the new shop is hoped to put 'Fudge My Life' on the map by setting a new world record.
Up to now, the largest royal icing-decorated sugar cookie measured 16.25 inches, with Cheryl's creation reaching 18.1 inches and weighing a whopping 4kg.
She added: "I made mine bigger by about 4cm and will enter it into the Guinness World Records!"
Until the shop opens its doors, you can satisfy your sweet tooth by visiting the Fudge My Life online store here.
