MAGICIAN Jack Rhodes will be performing a one-off homecoming gig in Ulverston later this year as a way of thanking the community.
The Britain's Got Talent runner-up announced his debut comedy magic show will be coming to The Coronation Hall on Friday, December 6.
This comes after the magician was forced to reschedule his previously planned UK tour due to 'factors outside of his control'.
Jack said: "We originally intended to do five shows that would have made up my first-ever tour, but now it's going to be even bigger.
"We'll be visiting 20 venues all around the UK and I'm so excited for that experience, but I still wanted to do something to bookend this year."

For Jack, the upcoming show in Ulverston will be his attempt to repay locals for the support they have shown, especially since he made his first appearance on the flagship ITV programme.
He added: "We knew that a lot of people locally booked to see me in places like Manchester before we rescheduled so the new show gives them another chance to watch me live.
"I wanted to give back to the community because it's honestly been a bit insane, the love they've given me.
"I didn't totally come to terms with it when I was on Britain's Got Talent because I was obviously filming in London but then I came home and people were coming up to me in the street, congratulating me on the success."

Jack's performance in Ulverston will showcase his usual combination of close-up magic and comedy, highlighting all the skills that pushed him to a second-place finish on BGT.
Having been creating videos on YouTube since 2020, amassing over 150 million views in the process, the magician is now hoping that December's debut will just be the first step on his next big adventure.
