A SECTION of a busy Lake District road in Coniston will close for up to two days for United Utilities works.
The A593 will close from its junction with Station Road extending in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 255 metres on October 31.
It is not possible to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists through the extents of the temporary road closure.
Access for emergency vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of these works.
The United Utilities works is described as 'disconnection or alteration of supply' on the list.
