A group of singers from Barrow went out of their way to delight care home residents in south Cumbria.
The Barrow Male Choir visited Abbeyfield House in Ulverston for a 'lovely afternoon'.
There, they serenaded residents with some 'beautiful songs', whilst the audience also enjoyed a side of tea and cakes to make the most of the experience.
A spokesperson from Abbeyfield Living Society, who provide housing and care for older people across England and Wales, said the residents enjoyed the performance.
Abbeyfield House dates back to 1877, though it only became a site for sheltered accommodation in 1975 - with Princess Diana opening a new extension 11 years later.
Over the past five years, the building has seen new renovations made both inside and out.
