A business owner has hit the jackpot with his latest 'crazy' food creation.
Mark Lunn, who runs North West Pizza, launched the 'Spudmania Special Pizza' last week, a jacket potato inspired version of the classic Italian dish.
The pizza features a creamed jacket potato base, generously topped with a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and crowned with the company's signature homemade beef chilli.
Mark discussed his long-time aspirations to come up with a 'crazy' concoction, which made its debut at its pop-up night in Burton-in-Kendal on Thursday, October 17.
He said: "We wanted to create something truly unique, and the combination of flavours in the Spudmania Special Pizza is a natural fit for our menu.
“Our customers loved it from the first bite, and their feedback has been incredible - we’re thrilled to finally bring this pizza to our full menu.”
Whilst based in Carnforth, North West Pizza operates across Cumbria and Lancashire, and has picked up various award nominations since it first started serving customers in 2019.
Mark added that the 'deliciously hearty pizza' had been a hit with taste-testers in its development stage, which inspired him to properly launch it as a new addition on the menu.
The 'Spudmania Special' was inspired by social media star Spudman, who has earned global attention through his jacket potato stall in Tamworth.

Mark will now be hoping that he and North West Pizza can tap into that worldwide love with their new offering.
The Spudmania Special Pizza will be available at all North West Pizza van pop-up locations until the end, though the one-of-a-kind pizza could stay for longer if it becomes a customer favourite.
