A sports bar in Barrow has re-opened after a £15,000 transformation.
The Knights Sports Bar on Dalkeith Street has been serving locals since 1920 with locally sourced ales, wines and wide range of spirits.
Its second floor houses both a former restaurant area which serves snacks and a function room with the bar showing sports every day of the week.

The major revamp saw it close for a week with local company Quality Flooring transforming the downstairs area by ripping out the old carpet and taking the floor back to basics.
Luxury vinyl has been introduced into the décor as well feature walls and vintage sports and football plaques.
The installation of a 120" projector means customers will be able to see even more of the action.
New lines are currently being installed which means a wider selection of drinks soon.
Both floors have been given a brighter aesthetic with new walls and floors which were re-opened to the public on October 11.
Bar manager Kim Woodcock, 36, who started in April 2023, said: "We decided recently that we wanted to re-energise the bar and this was the perfect time to do it before Halloween and Christmas.

"All in all, it's just short of £15,000 that has been invested into the bar with everything freshened up.
"The aim was to appeal to new customers, as well as our old ones, and we can't wait for all our regulars to see the amazing transformation.
"The feedback has been great so far with people saying 'I can't believe this is the same bar'.
"Our function room is now the ideal place to pre-party before a night on the town.
"It's free to hire for all celebrations so we really feel prepared for Halloween and Christmas.
"It has a capacity for 60 guests so it can also be used for professional meetings.
"We can not thank the Quality Flooring team enough for the amazing transformation they have achieved in the bar.
"I would also like to thank the staff team and friends that have helped us out."
The bar has a plethora of events coming up with five Halloween nights planned that include DJS and karaoke.
Its calendar has plenty of firsts to come before the new year including its first children's Halloween party on October 31 and first ever Christmas Wreath workshop on Saturday, November 23.
As well as many festive events planned, the bar will continue to show a variety of live sporting events.
