A yellow weather warning has been issued for the majority of Cumbria.
The Met Office have put the warning in place from 3am on Sunday, October 20 until noon on Monday, October 21.
The warning is for strong winds that could cause disruption in conjunction with resulting high spring tides.
At the time of writing, most parts of the county are included in the warning, though places further east - including Kendal and Sedbergh - will not be as strongly affected.
According to the Met Office, there is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are impacted.
There is also a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
