A butchers is cooking up fundraising success after launching a 'banger' competition.
Dales Traditional Butchers, based in Kirkby Lonsdale, started the 'Sizzle for a Cause' contest back in September.
This saw various local businesses submit their ideas for 'unique' sausage flavours, with the three eventual finalists claiming an extra £100 for their charity of choice.

Following 'enthusiastic community participation and support', which saw the public vote across social media platforms, the team at Dales revealed the three chosen entries earlier this week.
These were: the Bendrigg Trust with a venison, smoked bacon, red wine, and damson Sausage; Emma Grunnill Fitness with a pork and beef, chocolate and chilli sausage; and Avanti Restaurant with a sausage made from pork, haggis, and whiskey.
Mark Duckworth, owner of the butchers, said: "The response has been fantastic.
"We are grateful to all participants and voters, whose enthusiasm helped highlight the spirit of our community.
"The competition attracted entries from various businesses, showcasing their culinary creativity and dedication to supporting local charities."

From now until next month, the three special sausages will be sold at Dales to further support charitable organisations in the area.
For every kilogram sold of the finalists' sausages, £1 will be donated to their chosen charities.
The Bendrigg Trust - who branded the news as 'exciting' and wished their fellow finalists good luck - will be using the funds raised to support their own work in the community.
Meanwhile, Avanti Restaurant are backing St Catherine's Hospice, who are based in Preston.
The overall sausage winner, determined by the highest fundraising total, will be announced on Saturday, November 16, along with the charitable funds raised by each flavour.
As the competition continues, Mark Duckworth and the Dales team are hoping that the community stay 'engaged and supportive', celebrating the 'union of great taste' with their ongoing charity work.
