A new cafe service is coming to Barrow next month to help people plan for the future.
Organised by St Mary's Hospice, the 'Future Care Planning Café' will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on Market Street on Monday, November 9.
The session will run from 1pm to 3pm and will begin with a 15-minute introduction to help explain what future care planning is all about.
A spokesperson from the hospice said: "After the talk, we’ll be holding a 'Conversation Café' to help open up discussions in a relaxed and friendly environment.
"Feel free to stay, enjoy a cuppa, and chat with our hospice team for more advice and guidance.
"We’ll also be sharing details about our upcoming 'No Barriers Here' workshops, which explore advanced care planning through arts and creativity."
There is no need to book in advance, with the hospice hoping that people will drop-in to learn more about the process.
