A historic cinema in Ulverston has revealed new artist-painted signage.
Hand-painted by local artist Chris Dorning, the artist was pictured just days ago up on a scaffolding with only the word 'Laurel' visible.
After painting the Roxy's new logo earlier in the year, Chris has now created immaculately neat signage to show what is housed in the art deco building.

The signs, painted in the cinema's signature black, white and gold colour scheme, direct people to the Roxy Cinema, Redrock Productions, Laurel and Hardy Museum and U-Gym Ulverston.

The Roxy Collective formed in 2022 and are responsible for breathing new life into the cinema which dates back to 1937.
After several phases of renovations to the structure, the building was then able to enjoy several artistic touches to its exteriors.
This includes Chris' bright and colourful mural of Laurel and Hardy to celebrate the tenth anniversary of 'Another Fine Fest'.
