An Ulverston-based dog trainers has honoured a late teenager's legacy after her beloved dog show was almost cancelled.
Puppy Pals Cumbria owner Chris Mancini and trainer Jess Wright stepped in to help save Alice's Dog Show which is dedicated to Pride of Britain courage winner Alice Pyne.
She died in 2013 after battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma for five years.
The inspirational teenager was insistent that her legacy charity would be called Escapes and would provide a retreat for seriously ill children and their families.

Her wishes are honoured by her mum Vicky Pennington-Pyne who not only provides the retreats, but also organises several fundraising events in her name.
Alice's Dog Show is one of these, promised to her after she received her much-loved dog yellow Labrador puppy Mabel.
It was one thing she ticked off her bucket list after entering her prized puppy into a Lake District dog show before she died.
This year Alice's Dog Show almost never went ahead however after Puppy Pals Cumbria stepped in, not only did the event go ahead, it also raised a massive £901.70.
Co-owner of Puppy Pals Chris Mancini said: "Alice’s Mum, Vicky, trains her dogs with us and when we heard that Alice’s Dog Show was not going to be honoured this year, we really wanted to help.
"Alice did so much for so many and it’s so important to honour the promises made to her.
"We’re delighted to have made such a success of it, particularly given we only had a few weeks in which to organise it.
"The whole event has been a real community affair, I think she’d be proud of us."
Held in the expansive training fields at Puppy Pals Cumbria with a variety of classes and have-a-go activities, the day was full of fun and laughter.
Fifty dogs entered the dog show with more trying their paw at activities such as hoopers, scenting and parkour.
The judges were Jess and Cara of pet care service VIPets based in Barrow.
The winners of each class were:
Best Puppy – Kizzy, Golden Retriever
Prettiest Bitch – Pixel, Border Collie
Handsomest Boy – Herbie, Cavalier King Charles
Golden Oldie – Mabel, Labrador Retriever
Best Rescue – Ritchie, Golden Retriever Cross
Best Trick – Disco, Labrador
Best Sit-Stay – Disco, Labrador
Best in Show – Kizzy
Reserve Best in Show- Ritchie
Alice’s sister Milly Pyne travelled from her home in Newcastle to volunteer in the dog show.
She said: "I’ve spent the day marvelling about how you can have so many well-behaved dogs at one event. I was distracted by a chunky black Lab puppy."
Businesses such as JR Pet Products, Millies Wolfheart, Tug-E-Nugg offered their support along with WCF Ulverston who provided prizes and Lakes Loos generously donated the use of a loo.
A popular stop was the tombola which raised £370 with a meal for a star prize donated by The Bay Horse,Alice’s mum Vicky Pennington-Pyne added: "The whole day has been quite remarkable really. To organise and produce an event of this standard, in just a few short weeks, shows that love really does conquer all.
"I have no doubt that Alice will have been beaming down on all these gorgeous puppy dogs, and just a little thrilled that we’ve raised almost £1,000."
Alice's Dog Show is set to return in 2025.
