A recent annual charity event in south Cumbria has revealed its massive fundraising success.
The Furness and District Tractor Run returned to the county's roads on Sunday, September 1 in the effort of raising money for St Mary's Hospice.
Alan Irving and Karen Higgs have been the minds behind the event for several years now, with 2024 proving to be just as fruitful as previous editions.
The pair shared on Friday, October 11 that the tractor run's returned has brought in £8635.25 for the hospice.
They added: "A huge thank you to our drivers and supporters for making our event such a huge success.
"It really does make our drivers' day seeing so many people out enjoying the run, and boy was there a lot of people in places."
The team are now looking ahead to the Santa Special, a festive take on the tractor run that will be taking place on Saturday, December 7.
