A SECTION of the A5093 will close this weekend while works are carried out.
The road will close from its junction with the A595 and through The Green, near Millom, to its junction with the U4076.
It will be closed between 8am and 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
An alternative route is via the unrestricted section of the A5093, Salthouse Road, Station Road, St Georges Road, Horn Hill and the A595.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
