Barrow Town Hall has been lit up purple this weekend to show its support for a nearby hospice.
From Friday up until Sunday (October 13), the town hall has been getting involved in St Mary's Hospice's 'Wear it Purple' campaign.
This has encouraged residents to raise money in the charity's honour whilst wearing or involving the colour purple.
It has also coincided with the national Hospice Care Week, which has seen St Mary's host a number of events across Furness.
Explaining the campaign, a spokesperson from the charity said: "Whatever you do, do it in purple. Whether you choose to dress in purple, bake the 'purpliest' cake, host a purple fun-day or why not turn your whole school or office purple.
"Get involved and make a difference for patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness."
