A new award has been launched to find the best curry house across south Cumbria.
The Mail is asking our readers to nominate their favourite restaurants when it comes to a bit of spice.
The window for nominations will run from Monday, October 14 up until Sunday, October 20 - and you can submit your choice here.
Joy Yates, Newsquest Cumbria regional editor, said: “On the back of successful initiatives to find our readers’ favourite beauty salons, cafes and fish and chips shops, we are delighted to launch our search for your Best Curry House.
“Where serves your favourite madras or bhuna and has the best bhajis and naan breads?
“Make sure you get your nominations in from Monday to recognise your special curry house.”

Ten finalists will be selected from your choices, which will be announced in the week commencing Monday, October 21.
That will kickstart two weeks of voting, with each of the finalists vying for your support before the ultimate champion is revealed in November.
You will be able to vote for your choice by picking up copies of The Mail but, for now, you can show your support by using the online nomination form.
