This is your final chance to vote for your favourite beauty salon in Furness.

In September, The Mail launched the 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award which aimed to promote the people providing some style and glamour to the region.

Our readers were invited to nominate the businesses they felt were deserving of the recognition, with 10 finalists selected from those results.

For nearly a fortnight, voting has been taking place, with the window to submit your choice closing today (Saturday, October 12).

To help people pick which salon they want to support, The Mail has been running a series of special features about each of the finalists for the past two weeks.

These have been uncovering the stories of the people behind the businesses, highlighting what sets them apart from the rest of the beauty industry.

We have met people like Natasha Reed of NJ Beauty Retreat in Barrow, who is already tasting success after just a couple of months of business.

New stylists have been shaping the Barrow scene, with Megan Pincock opening MEGAesthetics last year and Sherry Royle leading the beauty team at Boss since April.

Meanwhile, Sarah Ramsay of Sarèan and  Jo Grainger of Coco will be hoping that their decades' worth of experience will help them over the line.

Further afield, Millom has seen three representatives battle it out for top spot, with the Beauty Lounge, Beauty Hub and Innovation all being popular spots to visit in the community.

Perhaps it is Ulverston's time to shine, where Eden Beauty Rooms have been styling customers for 18 years.

Or could Dalton fend off the rest of the competition, with the Griffiths family and the Tanning Salon 'plugging a gap' in the local market.

Whoever wins will be solely down to our readers and the champion will be revealed in the week commencing Monday, October 21.

Before then, you can still submit your votes by picking up a copy of The Mail - but these will only be accepted up until 11.59pm on October 12.
